I tried MSI Afterburner and noticed it uses the 4 Cores, not only 1. If anything, get in touch with Origin as they have probably had to deal with this issue from multiple people. You can also check to see if you have any pending Windows updates but this solution hardly ever works but it is worth doing to fix other issues that may arise. Maybe try Windows XP Service Pack 1 or 2. You could also try to run the game in a different compatibility mode first. You will have to do this every time you start the game unless you setup a different method to keep the game running on just one core. Its setting is a huge city with five unique but connected neighborhoods. Which can be done in more ways than one but the easiest is just by going into the task manager once you have the game up and running and going into the exe file and set the affinity to one core. NFS Underground 2 is the sequel to the hugely popular Need for Speed Underground that was released in 2003. Need For Speed Underground 2 doesn't run well on a multi-core CPU in Windows 10 so you can try to run the game on just one core.
